Expressive Arts

Engaging in hobbies, passions, and interests can significantly improve mental health by reducing stress, anxiety and depression through mindful engagement in activities that provide a sense of purpose, identity and satisfaction. They can  foster creativity, improve cognitive skills, build self-esteem, and provide social connections, contributing to overall well-being and a more balanced life.

As an Artist and Therapeutic Arts Practitioner, Terrilee believes strongly in the power of art as a mindful & healing tool. Upon request she will include the use of artistic mediums in her sessions. Terrilee also loves to offer expressive art workshops for groups or schools. Terrilee shows and sells her art work at the Carleton Place Collective.

Community Work

Terrilee believes in the power of volunteering and has devoted many hours to community development projects such as addressing rural youth homelessness and human trafficking. She is a founder, board member, volunteer, fundraiser and public speaker. Ask her about her current work to address rural homelessness on a National level or invite her to speak about mental health, expressive arts, homelessness, human trafficking or a related topic of your choice.
